Epoxidized Soybean Oil
ESBO
Epoxidized Soybean Oil is used in PVC as the second plasticiser and stabiliser. With adding it into PVC, it is able to save cost of main plasticiser and increase light and heat stability of PVC product by absorbing HCL that is realeased from decomposed PVC.
ESBO is made by soybean oil which is natural oil, so it is non toxic additve. Also ESBO is made by soybeanpaints to make Biopaint as the requirement of nontoxic and no corrosion. In addition, it is used in polyurethan foam, printing ink, oil paint, coating, synthetic rubber and liquid compound stabiliser, adhesive and so on.
